Why cann't shops stay closed

Christmas Day
Boxing Day and
New Year's Day

I used to work in retail and only managed christmas Day off

The staff need their family time off too Look at the poor staff working in Next they couldn't have a drink or stay up and enjoy their Christmas incase they slept in

If we can't buy in for a couple of days then something is seriously wrong

What do you think

Good for you Hayley do you think today would have been soon enough to start with sales?

Braken, I gave up going to sales about 40 yrs ago (yes I am that old) Bargains are only for the few that queue up all night. When you go in a shop ie M&S and see about 30 items that you have never seen before reduced you know you are being conned.

Carol ;-)

Both my youngest children work in retail, both were at work for 7 am Boxing day like yourself Braken, iI still think boxing day is christmas I wasnt interested in shopping then ...

Girls most of the goods declared as being on sale were priced at the same price a few months ago then they were put up in price only to come down again all in the name of a sale

We have 3 daughters 2 in nursing and 1 in retail lucky for them and for us they all had early shifts Christmas Eve and didn't have to go back to work until today, it's the first time in about 5 years we have had them all off at Christmas.
