Hi Dizzi, I've been reading your thread, just to say that I'm pleased to know that you went to walk in clinic and that your injuries are not serious. Hope the bad bruising isn't to painful and will soon go.

Also good to hear that you are having a new cooker delivered tomorrow,

I GAVE IN AND WENT TO WALKIN CLINIC
HAD KIDNEYS CHECKED,,OKAY
JUST HUGE BRUISING FROM SHOULDER TO LOWER HIP,ELBOW BIT SWOLLEN AND WRIST,BUT IM OKAY.

WE WENT TO LOOK AT COOKERS FOUND ONE
AND PRICE NOT TOO BAD BEING DELIVERED TOMORROW FOR £27 NORM £20 FOR THGAT YOU CHOOSE TIME AND DAY BUT ALLTOGETHER IT WASNT AS BAD AS IT COULD OF BEEN I THINK WE WILL BE ABOUT £60 WORSE OFF LUCKY THE OVEN HAD £70 OFF
BUT WHY DOSE THIS HAPPEN WHEN YOUR BROKE

I haven't been on here for a couple of days so just read this.
You have had some very good advice form your friends and I hope that you will soon be feeling a little better.

Dizzi when we moved in here it is all electric so we needed a new cooker, the slot for the cooker in fitted units was 22", the only place we could find one that was 21" was Co*et. I hope you will be feeling better soon.

Sometimes its cheaper to replace at your own expense and get a new insurance with it.

Hope you will not feel too sore today Gwen, and that you can claim on the insurance for the new door. Doesn't sound as tho it was very strong to begin with, maybe you have saved a worse accident happening when the kids were about later on.

FRIEND TELLS,I STOPPED WALKING SUDDENLY
STARTED TO FALL FORWARD BUT MANAGED
TO TURN SO WOULD LAND ON MY BACK
BUT MY ARM CAUGHT THE TOP OVEN BAR IT BENT AND SMASHED TOP GLASS.
THEN I CAUGHT THE OVEN BAR THAT BENT RIPPING SCREWS OUT AND THE REST OF THE GLASS SHATTERED

Hope you are OK Dizzi, but you're no doubt very bruised.

I'm surprised that the door broke so easily.... Never mind, that can be replaced, you're more important !
