I'M IN DEEP BOTHER,
JUST HAD A FALL IN THE KITCHEN AND
SMASHED THE COOKER GLASS ON THE
OVEN DOORS ,GLASS WAS EVERYWHERE
LUCKY A FRIEND WAS HERE AND SHE HELPED MY DAUGHTER CLEAR THE GLASS UP,BUT NO OVEN NOW,,,,,,,,I'M IN TROUBLE

That could have been nasty Dizzi, I hope you didn't cut yourself on the glass. Is the cooker very old? Maybe you can get new glass put in. Or maybe it will have to be a new door.

Acidents do happen Dizzi and with your balance problems then no wonder . The main thing is you are OK even though you are a bit bruised.

Oven doors can be replaced which you cant be !!

May be the time for a new cooker !! :-D

poor you - a kitchen is a very unforgiving place to have a fall - fell off the top of a ladder in mine a few years back - not nice!!! a nice soak in a warm bath should help

Dizzi, it's more important that you are ok.

I'm shocked that the oven door broke so easily - could have been very nasty for you.

Is the oven covered by insurance?

Hi Dizzi, hope your ok,
couple of years ago OH slip in the kitchen and the oven door broke and when l phoned the insurance company up they said if it was a fitted oven l would have to claim of building insurance but if it was free standing cooker l could claim on contents insurance, hope you have insurance ;-)

I JUST HOPE THE INSURANE WILL BE THE RIGHT ONE NEVER CLAIMED BEFORE,
AND ITS A FREE STANDING ONE

You will be Ok on Insurance if you have accidental cover.

Thank goodness you are ok Dizzi, it could have been worse. I have balance problems so know what it's like. Hope the insurance pays out for you

Oh Dizzi what a thing to happen - could have been much worse with all of that broken glass.

I'm surprised that the door broke so easily.... Never mind, that can be replaced, you're more important !

FRIEND TELLS,I STOPPED WALKING SUDDENLY
STARTED TO FALL FORWARD BUT MANAGED
TO TURN SO WOULD LAND ON MY BACK
BUT MY ARM CAUGHT THE TOP OVEN BAR IT BENT AND SMASHED TOP GLASS.
THEN I CAUGHT THE OVEN BAR THAT BENT RIPPING SCREWS OUT AND THE REST OF THE GLASS SHATTERED
