Can't stand Brucie....but love Terry,especially his brilliant hairpiece :-D

ChrisofWessex

ChrisofWessex Report 19 Nov 2011 23:44

Did not realise until a few days ago that Terry had a piece - I always wondered why he had a rotten haircut at the back. With his money you would think he could afford a good one!

SheilaSomerset Report 19 Nov 2011 23:44

Can't stand either of them!!!! :-D

ChrisofWessex Report 19 Nov 2011 23:47

Wogan I can cope with but the other - he always talks down to people - did it many many years ago also. He is hiring out a large hall for a concert next year and making records. Only thing OH says he is a brilliant pianist - well I wish he would play the piano there would be enough time and it would shut his mouth up!

oh dear!! I love Brucie - I think he has amazing talent - not too struck on his singing and certainly would not buy his new CD, but his dancing is brilliant

Wogan I love too - his commentary on the Eurovision Song Contest was second to none

Can't stand Bruce.....gropy old man, not making quite as many suggestive remarks now adays, quite sarcastic too. Why would he want to bring out a cd now.......money l spose. He can dance and for his age he's brill, but thats all.
Makes you wonder why it took so long for him to be made a Sir?? maybe because of his charity work, but don't know what that is. l would like to know what the celebrities really think of him, they all smarm up to him...yuck

Wogan....l love but he was'nt as good at this years children in need. He's better on the radio. Yeh wig needs sorting bless him.

moan over

jude :) ;-)

Well I am not ashamed to say I like and admire both of them. Wogan because he has always made me laugh, especially on the radio. And Bruce because he does things for people that are not publicised. I can't remember specifics but it leaked out a while ago that he visited somebody who was seriously ill, more than once. Most celebrities publicize their 'good works'. And he can still dance. Never did like his voice but however, he can still hold a note. I only hope I can be as energetic and annoying as he is when I reach his age.

Silly Sausage

Silly Sausage Report 20 Nov 2011 10:59

Wogan doesnt bother me I actually like him, Bruce does make me cringe, why does he try and make a joke which is so cringeworthy before the dancer go on, just introduce them and shut up, if he is a master of his trade which after 60 years in the business surely he must be, he should be quick enough to have a come back line with out the silly jokes, its so .....GRRRRRRRRRRR and pure BBC

so whats me prize Chris :-D

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 20 Nov 2011 11:05

And the jokes are written for him on the cue board!!

Silly Sausage

Silly Sausage Report 20 Nov 2011 11:12

MaccollFan1 Report 20 Nov 2011 12:34

Both Brucie and Terry are great, both proving that TV isn't just for pretty young things.

NOTE TO ALL NON-FANS: They are just acting the 'silly old man' part for the audience, they don't behave like that all the time! ;-)

ChrisofWessex

ChrisofWessex Report 20 Nov 2011 12:46

At least Wogan does not constantly make inane irritating jokes.

Janet

Janet Report 20 Nov 2011 12:51

Matthew both Brucie and Terry have been acting the same way all their lives. Terry is patronising and is ill at ease unless he is the centre of attention. I always remember when he had one of the actresses off Dallas on his talk program and she brought him a yellow rose- (of Texas )- and he couldn't even thank her for the gesture but just acted as if he didn't know what to do with it. I so wanted to tell him.
The problem with Brucies jokes are that they are as outdated as him and occasionally smutty. He sounds more like Frankie Howerd as he gets older. Double entendres belong to the Edwardian music hall not to 21st century television viewing. -jl

Silly Sausage

Silly Sausage Report 20 Nov 2011 13:04

Matthew as janet says they have done it all their lives, I am sure there was a programe about Bruce at his home adn he constantly acted up for the camera.....and thats what the producer said.

Chris will I like it? :-D

ChrisofWessex

ChrisofWessex Report 20 Nov 2011 13:13
