Matthew....from a womans point of view (mine atleast)....he's smutty, sarcastic and just yuck......and has always behaved that way.
Does'nt really matter what charity work someone has done really or whether they make it public knowledge or not......its the personality we're talking about....(..sorry Ann...lol ;-)..)

Yes I know it is the celebrity/personality you are talking about but you wondered why he's got a knighthood and said probably because of his charity work. I was just telling you what I thought the charity work might be because you said you didn't know hat his charity work was.

But, there must be a reason that the BBC are willing to pay him a lot of money and don't want him to give up. He must bring in the audiences or they would get rid of him, especially since they so obviously prefer younger presenters.

I like them both :) More so Terry because he has the brogue, but Bruce has been 'there' since I was little and watching Sunday night at the London palladium" .

I think people forget that 'working to the camera' is what they do, and an ability to fill in the blank spaces with easy chatter however inane, which is why I cringe when it's suggested that it would be good to see 'normal' people on WDYTYA as most would be a nightmare if faced with tv cameras.
