The film "The Boy in striped pyjamas"
is on BBC 2 at 9pm Tonight.
I know that this book was doing the rounds a few years ago
I was one of the people it was sent to. Of which I am very grateful.

a very powerful fim....i watched it a couple of months ago with family..i really tried to be brave and not cry but my throat hurt so much with holding back i had to let go..and totaly sobbed my heart out.
it really makes you think of what happened during ww2. and .how can another human being be so evil...i hope H and his sick friends are burning in hell.

with books you get your own images in your mind's eye and then when you watch the film sometimes it's a letdown....
