you can do it mel ..knuckle down lol... to think i passed my 11 plus for grammer school.. i wanted to go in to midwifery... but due to circumstances i couldnt ..you grasp all you can with both hands and go for it ..

She is lovely, Mel.
One summer a cat decided come in the open window and join us - those who didn't like cats were asked to ignore it, pass it on to someone who liked cats, or leave!! It's darned difficult taking notes with a huge ginger tom 'paddling' on your lap!!
Mind you - I don't know how she fed her children - she had no idea how to cook!! She was brought up in india with cooks, Aya's etc., hence she taught Hinduism.

Hi Mel

I failed my GCE maths the first time I sat in the summer exams, they were graded 1 to 6 then. I resat in the Nov and passed with a 2. My sister got a 1 first time ! I'm the duffer of the 2 of us.lol

Do your best , if you've been revising you can do no more than that:)
( I didn't revise for the summer exams..too lazy ! )

My son is doing his GCSE's this week too

I didn't do very well when I was at school, it was CSE's back then but I did GCSE maths 6 years ago at college and got a B, well pleased with myself

In my day they were called O Levels, and it was only after I had left school that I realized that not having any was a major disadvantage.

But, somehow, I could never quite manage the time or motivation to have another crack at them.

Anyone who takes them, or any other qualification, on along with all the other demands of daily adult life has my utmost admiration.

LOL Robin ~ back in the day he he ty for yur comments much apprechiated x

Well I felt like I "owned" that paper it was everything I knew and yes algebra too I have revised so hard on algebra so feeling pretty confident x

don't forget to show your working out cos even if your answer is wrong you may get a mark for method ( got told that by maths tutor at college, he also did exam marking)
