my son said yesterdays paper was quite hard but he's not brilliant at maths

all you can do is your best

son has history and science next week

Hi all exam went reasonably well not sure I did enough to get my C but I did my best ~ my son struggled today though Lizz I bet she is glad to get her maths out the way x

ty Yvonne I wasnt v confident but been revisin so feeling better now my son sitting same exams has not been taught calculator functions hope he's ok x

don't forget to show your working out cos even if your answer is wrong you may get a mark for method ( got told that by maths tutor at college, he also did exam marking)

LOL Robin ~ back in the day he he ty for yur comments much apprechiated x

Well I felt like I "owned" that paper it was everything I knew and yes algebra too I have revised so hard on algebra so feeling pretty confident x

In my day they were called O Levels, and it was only after I had left school that I realized that not having any was a major disadvantage.

But, somehow, I could never quite manage the time or motivation to have another crack at them.

Anyone who takes them, or any other qualification, on along with all the other demands of daily adult life has my utmost admiration.
