i can tell you about my stall in a market hall its only a small place but i will have a table, the money raised will be sent to our local vicar, monies raised helps various charities.
IM NOT ASKING FOR MONEY BUT IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING SMALL YOU COULD POST ME AS I HOPE TO CARRY THIS WORK ON.

does anyone have any ideas of how i could get stuff to raise money for the table.

Puss put a notice up on the notice board of the church / shop / any meeting hall also on your own front gate requesting goods for the table leave the money bit out of it and hope somebody gives you the start up cost for the table, after that always keep the table cost back.

make some cards hun they go down brill and are pretty cheap and easy, you can get the packs fromt he pound shop x

jean ive been pottering about in the garden and ive taking cuttings of herbs and rhubarb and flowers although i dont know what the flowers will be as i chucked the leaflets out so i could have some people coming back with a parsnip plant instead of a flower xx

You could ask people to give you their old birthday and Christmas cards and cut them up to make gift tags, place name labels for parties etc.

Also put an ad on gumtree asking for any bits and bobs people don't want to keep or can't be bothered to sell, there are often people giving away things or selling a huge box for a bootsale of all sorts of odds and ends, for a small amount, if they don't sell them ask them to donate them to you.
Also look on freecycle for stuff as well or put a wanted ad on there.

Good luck, take care of yourself tho, don't take on too much while you are trying to look after other family members, I suppose you could keep Specky busy cutting out cards etc after his op, when he can't do a lot.

Just be careful about trying to sell 2nd hand electrical goods cos they need to be certified PAT tested first.
