Hi pat sorted out a book for book keeping and asked vicar to check and sign for my benefit bless her she said i had no need but there are some sad people about xx

yes pat what an excellent idea, i was thinking of the lines of a sticker with price item then stick that in a book when sells, never thought of that thanks so much xx

Just a thought. Keep a book of all takings and expenditure. Keep the receipts. Get someone (the vicar) to sign for the monies handed over. This will cover yourself. While we know your intentions are good there are a lot of funny doubtful people out there. Just make sure you are covered.

Bath salts -Take a small glass jar with a cork, or any suitable container that can be sealed, fill with Epsom Salts, add a teaspoon of perfume and seal. Shake and leave to at least two weeks. Tie a decorative ribbon on it and then give it to a friend. Alternatively, it can be given without the perfume but with instructions to add the perfume of their preference.

Mouse Mat - Look in the fabric, craft or DIY stores for the colourful 9" x 12" sheets of craft material called "Foamies" or dense foam floor tiles (used for play areas etc.) These can be used as they are, thinner materials can be glued together or they can be decorated by many different means (your imagination is the only limit). Shapes can be cut out of one tile and the hole filled with a piece of the same shape cut from a different colour tile.

Just be careful about trying to sell 2nd hand electrical goods cos they need to be certified PAT tested first.

You could ask people to give you their old birthday and Christmas cards and cut them up to make gift tags, place name labels for parties etc.

Also put an ad on gumtree asking for any bits and bobs people don't want to keep or can't be bothered to sell, there are often people giving away things or selling a huge box for a bootsale of all sorts of odds and ends, for a small amount, if they don't sell them ask them to donate them to you.
Also look on freecycle for stuff as well or put a wanted ad on there.

Good luck, take care of yourself tho, don't take on too much while you are trying to look after other family members, I suppose you could keep Specky busy cutting out cards etc after his op, when he can't do a lot.
