Mahoosive... lol I have absolutely no idea where I picked that up from, lolol

The problem is, that these people seem to have deliberately placed their henhouse as far away from their own bedroom as possible... and slap bang near yours... that is very inconsiderate!!

We could always drown the little B in the lake, lolol!!

Or have a meet in your street, lolol.... grilled rooster on the menu!

Daff ,we are in a road with houses just on our side of the road. All our back gardens are large.Next door the the Cockerel have a 'mahoosive' lol garden with a small lake!!.But they keep the chickens fairly near the back of our house.maybe 150ft.We sleep at the back of our house so hear the little B***r.But the owners sleep at the front of theirs so probably can't hear him.I do know it bothers the neighbour the other side of them.I have just got used to it now.I wake up but then just turn over and go to sleep again.
I got the word Mahoosive from you lolol

MrDaff Report 2 May 2010 16:08

Well, he'd look better in the roasting pan, then, lolol ;¬)))

Seriously, though, they can be considered a noise nuisance, in a residential area, that is... have you found out whether that applies, or do you live next to a farm or something?

Oh no he won't Daff...lol OH knows his way around a bike having ridden one for years ;-)

Toffee, hmmmm, I could think of more suitable things to feed him but I will get accused of abuse!

She is renting because the owner can't sell in this market, fingers crossed they move on soon.

MrDaff

MrDaff Report 2 May 2010 15:08

Well, you could make some toffee, using a recipe from Kitty.... that should keep him quiet for a week or so!!

We had that problem when we first moved here... there was a family down the way... where you were sat, looking straight ahead, and about four doors down... the girls were fine... but the spoiled brat of a boy was constantly screaming... at first I thought he had a learning disability, but another neighbour said not.... that he was just a spoiled little boy with three older sisters. When I was ill, the house went up on the market, but the trampoline etc is still there, so not sure if they sold or not... but he is quiet now!! Or he was last year.

ps... in about 12 years, he'll be revving up his motorbike outside your house, lololol!

Kay, my telly is turned up..lol like my blood pressure.

Windows are open because it's sunny and I am not going to shut them because she can't be bothered to entertain her own child. So the option is I turn his volume down for him, a damn good soaking with the hose should do the trick :-))

Sue x

Kay????

Kay???? Report 2 May 2010 14:39

I think you should trun ya telly up,,,,,,,,:}}}}}

throws a couple of bungles of cotton wool.......

go ask the twit if her son is ok as he is screaming his head off is he hurt,

supercrutch

supercrutch Report 2 May 2010 14:28

ROFLMAO, yes I am bleedin' grumpy!

She's too lazy to ever take the kid to:

Large playing field, 15 mins walk
Hard surface multi play area, 5 mins walk
Beach, 4 miles away
Wildlife centre, 2 miles away
The river/gorge, 2 miles away (ooh that sounds good) :-))

So the bored brat just screams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We live in a cul de sac of just 8 houses so the noise is trapped. I may just have to get the garden hose at the ready...lol

How about a few next door neighbourly conversations to get to know the mum. Then a really concerned comment about the poor child's "disability" and the query as to whether the support/education services think they will be able to make any improvement in his speech affliction!!!

Then you can all share a couple of large brandies and console each other while one hold down the child and helps the mother apply the tape.

MrDaff

MrDaff Report 2 May 2010 14:14

S'all right, Sue... go ahead... we can all come as character witnesses at your trial, and confirm you are absolutely bonkers, so you'd only get community service...... duct taping while the balance of the mind is disturbed...

Oh... and you could ask if the Community service could include re-doing the duct tape at regular intervals... I mean, that IS a service to the community! ;¬)) And would confirm you as deranged.

Mwah!!
