Have recycled all my adult life, low wages started me off and have kept it up. I cant think how many dresses became skirts and then pinnies. Stockings made stuffing for cushions and toys. Leftover food went on the dogs plate. |

Our new recycling scheme seems to be working well. Apparently our council have increased their recycling from 33% to 60% since it started at the beginning of April. We have a green wheelie bin for landfill. |

up here in the north west of scotland, for the last two years we have 2 bins. one is for anything considered organic, paper, food cardboard, garden waster etc and a non organic for everything else. |

Where we live in Oz we have three bins. Normal garbage, recyling for paper, plastic bottles etc and a "green" for grass clippings, prunings etc. It works well. |
