Now I can go backwards again ! lol
Tec , you have my sympathy . My OH asked the other day if I ever dream that I'm researching , I really wish he hadn't as I've since had several dreams of doing just that , I'm sure I mumble names and dates in my sleep as well : (( I'd stop ...... but I can't , it is an awful compulsion . And he keeps asking " but what are you doing FOR ? " , that is such a hard question to answer ......lol
I've just been to let the dog out and my breath is hanging in big plumes against the dark night ..... brrrrr

I am always filling in pages and pages of ancestry in my sleep and then when I wake up I wonder why I can't find these people.
Don't why I mutter about them as I have that much all over the show, so much yet to enter etc. I started out with different branches in different exercise books and now they are all just higgeldly piggedly everywhere. So then I spend time rearranging and having a chuck out. Seems to be in a constant state of disorder. Will start off doing one side and then get sidetracked with some other group of relatives. No wonder I need the asylum.
Rebuttal : Being butted by the same goat twice.

Persey, I wouldn't worry about being taken to task by the ever ready smart bottoms that lurk ready to pounce. It would be very helpful to you and the Aussies to have the time showing, actually it doesn't take a second for the Brits on this thread to put the time up if it helps, perhaps not every time when the thread is fast moving and there's a few on. I will do that anyway.
Sandie, We seem to been in a mess whenever I'm working on the house. As I've been doing it for 15 years, we are used to it. Completelyrevamped our bathroom last year, so understand the mess you can be in.

Hi all sorry again for not joining you all earlier, had a terrible pain in chest and didn't know why, it had my son quite worried ( me too ) but I think all it was was indigestion. I have never had indigestion before and didn't know how painfull it could be, it felt as though some-one was sitting on my chest (very frightning ) but it has eased off now and all I keep doing is burping so I guess that is all it was lol.
Sandie, yes I am a cheeky mare lol, will answer your pm soon but not tonight as it is now 12-40am and time I should be off.
Sue hope you enjoy your walk round market.
Tec and Amanda as you are in bed now I will say a late good night and stay warm.
Berona you are probably waiting to pounce to tell me off lol, don't worry I am on my way to bed, enjoy your day.
Perse, loved your poem hun, hope you enjoy your day what-ever you are doing.

Diane - Thank goodness we only have a couple more days before you see the doctor. You should tell him/her about your chest pains - let him give you a good overhaul if he wants to..
He will no doubt tell you not to lift, so tell him exactly what you do for your job. Don't hold anything back, no matter how trivial it may sound. Let him be the judge of whether or not it's important.
We worry about you, so make sure you let us know the outcome of the visit on Tuesday - as soon as possible, please!!!

Hello everyone - hope all are well.
Sorry if I worried you all - I was just concerned about the chest pains Diane was having. All the warnings say better be safe than sorry. I've had a pm from Diane and she seems fine.
You're right Berona - a complete check up is in order. Do I sound like a mother hen? - sorry again:-))

Good evening/ morning all Please forgive me for worrying you all, but I'm fine ( honestly ) I only wanted you all to know why I was absent and didn't mean to worry you all :( As I told Sue in my pm I have had similar pain today but not as severe and I have had a lot of wind ( both way's ) I think the meal I ate before I had a sleep was the reason for the indigestion, serve's me right for going to bed straight after a big meal ( I won't do that again ).
I am watching X Factor so will be missing for a while, speak to you all later
BTW thank's for caring

Hi Diane - hope you are feeling a little better this evening.
I thought we were up to 1383 pages but it's dropped down to 1380 again. Won't let me go any further. Not to worry - I'm sure it will all settle down soon:-))
We look like having another lovely day today. Yesterday it was warm and sunny with just enough of a breeze to keep it comfortable. I went to the garden centre and bought some lettuce seedlings, some marigolds to put in the vegie garden and some strawberry plants. OH pulled out some old brussel sprouts plants that were past their best and found loads of snails probably because of the unseasonal rain we've been having. OH has decided to extend the garden as he's enjoying working in it and also enjoys the fresh vegies. One of the many good things about retirement as before he didn't really have time to work in the garden. He said the other day that he sees why I enjoy it so much.

I envy you being able to garden, Sue. It's enjoyable and good exercise at the same time. Lovely day coming up - ideal for it.
Diane - don't you wonder why other people eat their evening meal hours before going to bed? This could have something to do with your indigestion. Tell the doc what time you eat. You had better start writing a list of all the things we tell you to say, or you will forget ome of them.

Hi Berona. I find gardening good for relieving stress especially when the weather is as good as it has been the last couple of days. The good thing about the rain is that everything looks green and lush.

Good Morning Sue, Good Evening Diane,
Glad to know you are feeling better today Diane. Chest pain should never be taken lightly, as I know to my cost. If you are in any doubt you must tell the doctor who will arrange an ECG, a simple procedure that only takes minutes. I have them on a regular basis.
Hi Sue, It's great that your OH is now more interested in the garden now that he has time. I hope he will get as much pleasure out of it as I do, and you obviously do. We only have a small garden here, and I often think with nostagia of the huge garden we had at the old house, but in reality there is no way I could manage that garden now, so maybe I'm better off with what I now have. I have discovered though that it's harder to get a small garden looking nice, than a large one.

I doubt if we have had enough rain to make the gardens look good, Sue. One by one, the old homes with established gardens are being replaced by a complex of villas and townhouses - and no trees. My complex is in a long street which was lined with Jacaranda trees. It used to be lovely to drive down in November. However, as the complexes are built, the trees on the footpath are knocked over by builders - then when the building is finished, they replace them with small saplings of 'anything'. Either they are cheaper - or they just don't care past fullfilling their obligation to replace anything damaged. Anyway, as these complex developers try to fit as many buildings as possible into the space available - there is very little sign of gardens now.
