Mo in Kent Report 3 May 2014 19:56

Hello everyone.
Just popping in to say hello. I hope you are all well, and will enjoy the bank holiday weekend.
My appointment for the 27th, is for a pre-op assessment, not as I thought the camera job. So I have pulled the scafolding poles out, as the camera crew won't need them just yet.
The pain thankfully is more under control, with the use of painkillers, not the ones prescribed by the GP I might add, they are far to strong and addictive.
I had a p.m from our Jean, and bless her she is till not very well. So please join me in praying for her health to improve.
Well girls, I am going to say goodnight, god bless. Love Mo xxx

Sallie

Sallie Report 3 May 2014 21:49

Hi Mo, I thought your appointment was for either a Colonoscopy or an Endoscopy, too..... I assumed that it was for one or the other. Also told Jean when I sent her a p.m. sorry my mistake!.
Thank goodness that the painkillers you are taking are helping to control the pain for you.
I hope and pray that all will go well for you and that whatever the problem is, it will be something that can be put right.

Had a message from Jean today, as you said, she still isn't very well. <3 She is hoping to see the doctor next week , so hope that he/she can give her something to take so that she is feeling a lot better soon.
Jean, hoping and praying that your health will improve very soon. Sending you lots of positive thoughts and hugs. <3 <3

Elizabeth, thank you for looking in on us and your good wishes for the weekend.

Also sending good wishes to you and your family, also hope that you will enjoy your weekend. Take care.

Jennie has suffered with a few problems with her Crohn's over the last four or five days, so we just have to wait and see how it goes. At least if it is a flare- up, she can ring the hospital for advice on what she has to do. I just hope that it isn't though, as she is usually really poorly with it.

Huia, hope you feel alright after your holiday, also hope that the weather was good for you.

Ann, not sure if you are at home for the weekend or away, wherever you are hope that you and T have a good weekend.

Sylvia and Marie, hope that you are both alright along with your families.
We haven't heard from you both for a while.

I will say bye for now, will speak to you all again soon.

Love and best wishes. Sallie.xxx

Sallie Report 6 May 2014 22:59

Hello girls, thought I'd just pop on to see how you all are and to nudge the thread up a bit.

Huia, is your avatar one of the photos you took while you were away? I'm not on face book, so not sure if it is.....wherever it is, it looks a lovely place to be.

I hope that your few days went well and that the weather was good for you.

Mo, did you tell us that you and Roly are going on holiday before your hospital appointment?

Pleased to hear that your pain is more under control now without you having to take the painkillers prescribed by your doctor. I hope that whatever the problem is Mo, the hospital will soon get it sorted for you.

Jean, also hope that you are starting to feel better and not so tired as you have been over the last few weeks.

Have you been able to get back to the dentist yet? Hope that the abscess you had has now gone, so that you are still not suffering with it.

Ann, Sylvia and Marie hope that you and your families are all alright.

Take care everyone.

Love and best wishes.

Love, Sallie.xxx

Reporting what I am up to, thought I would wait until all the various dates were cleared , dentist said the abscess has nearly gone but still a bit sore it has been agony, , eye clinic o.k. for the next 6 months, new glass to pick up on Monday, dont know if I have earache or maybe all tied up with the mouth, so that one week out of the way , struggling walking so am going to the docs next week hopefully, still feeling tired all the time, so may get some help with that too,

Thanks Sallie for your concern, and telling my friends on here how things are, hope our Mo is doing o.k. if she is away hope the weather is better than here its pouring....

I will let you know how I get on either by adding or sending a p.m.

love to everyone love Jean xx

I seem not to have been on here for a while. Spent today packing for our holiday, first week in Cornwall, second week Dorset, I don't think we are going to get sunburnt. Where is the heatwave you usually have in UK when we are in Tenerife in May? Not even on the horizon.

Glad the abcess has nearly gone Jean. Whenever I have had an abcess I have had to have the tooth out afterwards.

I think Mo was having a few days away before her hospital appointment.

Yes thanks we are fine, just been really busy getting the garden up to scratch before leaving it. If this weather keeps up we will return to a boggy mess.

We have WiFi where we are going so I shall still be around on here. :-) :-) :-)

Hello Sallie, yes that is where I went for my holiday, it was a short walk from my accommodation. I will change the avatar at a later date so you can see more of the photos.

Hello my lovelies,
I am still at home at the moment, we go today week,...hoooray it seems ages since we had our last break away.

Ann, the heat wave is going to arrive mid to end of this month, so hopefully, we will both get some of it whilst we are away.
Have a lovely time both of you.

Jean my darling, I am sorry to hear that you are still having a few problems. Wouldn't it be wonderful, just to have a few weeks feeling normal, being able to enjoy the weather, and good health for a change.
Perhaps if and when the sun does come out, we will feel more like our old selves sweetheart.

Huia, I must get to check out your face book photo's. I bet they are as good as you normally take love.

Hi there Sallie, are you and Alun having a holiday this year? I hope you are both keeping well.

We have got a gloriuosly sunny day today, but it is spoilt by the very heavy winds.
I tried to sit outside for a while, but the wind kept blowing the pages of my book, and I was unable to read in peace, so I decided to come on here, to let you know that I am still alive and kicking.

A BIG HELLO, to Sylvia, and Marie if they should look in, as it's been a while since we spoke to them.

Has anyone heard how Joyce and Jan are getting on now.?

Have a lovely weekend girls, just in case I don't get the chance to get back before it's over.
I will speak to you before we go away though.
Love and hugs to you all, Mo xxx

Hello girls,

Jean, thank goodness that your abscess is a lot better, hope that the soreness will soon go off. Good that everything went well with your eye test and won't need to go for another six months.

Mo, nice to see you on here, hope that you are okay and not suffering any pain.

Where are you and Roly going for your holiday? Wherever you are going I hope that the weather will be good to you and that you have a lovely break.

Huia, it will be nice to see your photos on your avatar, thank you for doing that.
If they are all like the one you have on now, they will be really lovely.

Ann, great to read that you and T have arrived safely and that you are pleased with your accommodation, must say it sounds a lovely place to stay.
Enjoy your holiday and hope that you will have some good weather.

Mo, I haven't heard any more news about Joyce and Jan, if and when I do I will put
it on here. Hope that things are better for them both.

Sylvia, it seems a while since we heard from you, I hope that everything is alright with both you. Take care.

Marie, I hope that all is well with you and your family, it's a good while since we heard from you too. Take care.

Michael had to take Jennie into hospital last night, problems with her Crohn's again and also very painful piles. She is on a drip, of antibiotics, steroids and painkillers and will be in at least for the weekend.

Well, must go and get ready to go and visit her, so will speak to you all later.

Take care everyone.

Love, Sallie.xxx

Hello everyone,
Firstly, Sallie, I am so sorry to hear that Jennie is in hospital, and I hope and pray the anti-biotics kick in soon, to relieve her pain. Bless her, Crohn's is such a painful disease to have to cope with, it's bad enough having to suffer every day, but when it flares up bady it's agony for her.
We are of up to Great Yarmouth Sallie, thats if our car is sorted. If not we will have to hire one for the week...more expense when we don't really need it.
The engine management light keeps flashing up, and we are afraid of the darned thing conking out on us.
Monday we have got to phone Fords, to see if they can sort it out before we go away, so fingers crossed for us.

Ann,your accomodation sounds fabulous. We are hoping and praying the caravan we are going to, will be as good as the previous one we had. The person who owns it, upgraded last year, and moved to a quieter spot on the site.
Now sit back and enjoy yourselves, and try not to embibe to much of the cider, we don't want you suffering from the falling down problems that can occur after drinking to much of it. lol

Dear Elizabeth, I do hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend, and that you are all keeping well.
Have you anything special planned for the next bank holiday weekend?
Fortunately for us, we will be travelling home, just as people will be making their way to their destinations friday week, and god willing we will miss most of the heavy traffic.

Huia, I loved your Photo's on F.B,what wonderful scenery where you were staying. I bet it was so lovely and peaceful for you.
How's things with your Phil now ? I don't suppose there is much change for the better my love, but I just hope he is faring better in health than he was.

Well my friends, I will say cheerio for now, take care. Love to all, Mo xxx

Mo, thanks for your get well wishes for Jennie. Friday they found out that she had a water infection as well as the ' flare up ' and the problem with very painful
piles. Then from just after visiting had ended at half past eight her temperature went up and it was almost after two in the morning before it went down.....it then went too low so they had to put more covers on her to get her warm. Jennie said that both the doctor and the nurse were wonderful with her and watched her until her temperature was back to normal.

I hope that your car will be sorted in time for your holiday. Things tend to go wrong with the car when we need it for holidays or long journeys.lol!!

Hope that you are feeling alright Mo, and will feel the same way while you are on holiday.

Hello, to Ann, Jean, Huia, Sylvia and Marie, hope that you are all well.

Will look in again tomorrow.

Take care everyone.

Love and best wishes.

Sallie. xxx

Oh Sallie, poor Jennie, I do hope she will be able to come home soon my love.
Piles are painful on there own, let alone her other problems being added to the pot, give her my best wishes, and that I hope she gets well soon.

At the moment, we are waitng for a diagnostic man, to come and take a look at our car.
If he turns up that is, if not, we have arranged with Fords to take it to them on Wednesday, but that does not give us much time, for them to do any repairs that may need doing.

We have had a most gloriuos day today, weather wise, fingers crossed it stays that way.
Our spare bedroom looks like a charity shop, with clothes all ready for packing. For goodness sake, we are only going for one week, but with our weather as changeable as it is, I need to pack for any changes that may occur.
I suppose I could not pack anything, and just buy as I need things.....LOL, I don't think so somehow do you.

Time for our afternoon cuppa now, anyone like one...{_}? {_}? {_}? and a biscuit to go with it @@@@ I know our Sallie will LOL
Speak to you soon, hugs Mo xxx
