i'm sorry if i have an opinion, as many others on here i thought that was these boards were for no i repeat don't go for controvresy, what is he point in that..
sorry but to suggest that the the death of two little toddlers is a bandwagon for my own justifaction is unbelievable it was a thread to get peoples opinion and that is all .

I hardly think that describing a thread as being touchy amounts to a claim of putting up a controversial thread that's aim is to offend someone.

And as for nailing his wotsits to the floorboards for suggesting that the punishment should fit the crime .................................. that was surely just a throwaway remark and an aside from the theme of the thread.

I really cannot help thinking that too many are making far too much about nothing.

I think Igor knows this thread could cause controversy. I haven't reported it or anything he has ever said. I didn't say he posted this PURELY to offend or whatever. And I'm not the only 1 who has thought what I have stated here.

I agree the baby behind this story has had a tragic end and of course people agree with that. I just don't agree with trying to make it entertainment, or food for a juicy little debate. Not playing games, sorry.

All this reporting crap is getting riduculous surely we are all entitled to freedom of speech tis wat makes good debates! I aint seen out controversal or Igor drawing attention to hisen ~ this is a tragedy of the worst kind lets have some respect for these innocents!

I just think that if someone who keeps telling the boards that he's fed up of being reported for "controversial" threads, tells us that this one is a bit contraversial, adds don't hang me for saying this etc etc , it just begs the question I asked, that's all.

Could I just ask Maria what it is about this thread that leads her to believe that Igor has posted it purely to offend someone.

After all, everyone who has responded has broadly been in agreement with him ........................... and some have even added their own anecdotes.

why on earth should i use the deaths of two tots to further my cause , perhaps if you had read the threads that were deleted instead of condeming , bit like a kangaroo court really guilty before trial .
i do realise that thy may have been deleted before you read them , so please don't judge me on something you have not read (by the way at least you are honest enough to reply with your opinion and leave your name that i do respect and hope we can become cyber friends.

Igor, here's what I think.

I have never read any of your many (self proclaimed) "contraversial" threads before but I've seen you state that these get reported time and time again.

Having read this one I can't help but wonder if you are posting this (even partly) because you're hoping/expecting that someone will find it offensive and report it so you can prove that once again you've been singled out for review.

I may well be wrong l'm just calling it as I see it.

But these aren't amusing little ditties to play silly games with, to use in a study or to support your particular cause. These are real people's lives.

I'm not hiding behind a false name or pressing the review button. I'm stating my opinion.

We had a horrific case here in Aus. where a couple killed the woman's little boy because he kept wetting himself - probably out of fear. They dumped him in a playground not far from their home and then appealed on TV for witnesses. They said he had gone missing from their yard. The woman's 10 y.o. daughter had witnessed the couple beating the little one and discussing what they would do with his little body when they realised he was dead. Just writing about it now after 10 years brings me to tears. The abuse on the little boy doesn't bear thinking about. The boyfriend had moved into the house 6 weeks after meeting the woman. He had been left with the family of 4 children while their mum worked. The other children told a tale of constant beatings and abuse on the little 4 y.o. The couple are still in jail and will be for years to come.
