Dear Shimms

Thanks again for your lovely messages.

Last night I first of all watched Mamma Mia - didn't want anything too heavy. I really love this film and see different bits of humour each time I watch it - quite sad really, but I enjoy it.

As I had been asleep a few times during the day didn't feel too tired so decided to watch some Titanic documentary films which my friend sent me for Christmas. The Titanic absolutely fascinates me. One of the films was examining various aspects of things which contributed to the sinking following the iceberg collision. I managed to watch two of them (there are eight in the set) and then decided I felt weary enough to sleep. Had quite a good night really and only woke up once from coughing.

Hope you enjoy your programme tonight - take care of yourself.

Love & Cuddles

Dearest Stephanie

Don't think I've seen Mama Mia Stephanie, will have to look out for it.

I've watched documentaries on The Titanic, tis fascinating isn't it, so sad too ...

At the moment I'm sketching flowers, am watercolouring an Orchid and more whilst waiting for a friend's daughter to have her baby. Wasn't that long ago that I was holding Alko's hand whilst her daughter was in labour; oh Stephanie, she had the most beautiful little girl.

Am so hoping you had a better nights sleep, so hoping your cough will go. So pleased too that we're friends. :)

Dear Shimms

Didn't know I had just acquired a clever friend - drawing and colouring flowers! I have always wanted to draw & paint - have a vivid imagination but can't translate this on to paper - have had several attempts but to no avail. Still can't be good at everything!

I do counted cross stitch embroidery. It is really therapeutic and so interesting watching the picture grow as you start in the middle of the material - don't know if you have ever tried it. Before my retirement I amassed several sets and so far have partly completed two pieces. I also collected some DVDs that I wanted to watch along with various CDs of music I like.

Now having started compiling my family tree - it's true what they say (whoever the "they" are?) - how did I have time to work!

Notice you mention having a tonic - think I will wait until I feel better and have some gin with it - maybe a couple!

Tonight I have watched Calendar Girls - think it was because of Julie Walters being in Mamma Mia. Then I had to have my Horatio fix. CSI
Miami - think he's gorgeous and could have the top off my boiled egg any time and dip his soldiers in!!

Think I had better close now - getting a bit excited - all hot and unnecessary!

Thank you for all your loving thoughts & hudggles

Love & cuddles

Dear Shimms

Notice how my Horatio fix affected me - couldn't even spell "huggles"!!!

Anyway whichever way it is spelled - lots of them!
