	If your worried about Electricity. Pop down you local Builders Mer5chants Or B&Q. and buy a small generator,well worth it.M.

	We certainly did have more snow back in the 70s...........us kids on the road once got together to push a huge snowball round and round the block. It was so big that there was still some left in early May !! I remember the beautiful frost pattens inside the windows in the mornings and icicles..........I can't remember the last time I saw an icicle that was worth investigation........lol Amanda

	Yes we had more snow..No children wasn't as cheeky and had more respect for their elders...you could make a pan of tata ash monday and stand your spoon up in by wednesday by the way anyone seen Kitty lately ? Since she gave us her good news.

	Yes, I'm sure we used to. Remember when frosts lasted for days at a time. The river freezing over & going skidding on it. I wonder if this winter will be one of those? Coldest start to a winter for a number of years. Even here in darkest Essex.

	Roll on labour , wasnt they the cause of in the 70's and now ?..just my opinion I know naff all about Politics ....did I hear someone shouting more or was it door...lol
