Our driveway is flooded, and the horrible sandy coloured dirt is running round the side of the house, and into our back garden.

Went into town earlier, and there has been a power cut on the main traffic lights due to a flood.

Absolute chaos!

Really hope the rain stops soon for you all... Carlisle was flooded a few years back and some of the houses are still not completely finished. We were lucky as we are in the high part of the town.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you all

No idea about bridge as I've not got to go out until after 6 tonight. But Twins will have probs getting home, as which ever bus they get home it has to go under that bridge!!
Hope it doesn't reach teh patio will have to m-i-l and ex m-i-l and check their gardens are ok as they're just down the road from you.

I'd normally be doing the drowned rat act as I normally to collect youngest from school. But due to hurting my ankle on Saturday and i'm still resting !!!! Sis is collecting him for me.

totally forgot to ask boys about it as they came in because they was killing each other as usual, and it kinda distracted me. But presume as they haven't mentioned it before bed there was no prob, ( they'd try and use it as an excuse to get tomorrow off knowing my two LOL )

Shimmer

Ankle much better thanks rested most of Saturday all of Sunday and most of today. It actually my knee thats the problem( long history). It gives way sometimes, usually i just stagger, but when it went this time i was on wet grassy slope.
