Found out going home last night that the boots I use for the motorbike have worn out: hence one very wet right foot where it came through the toe of the boot.

Where the road was flooded last night with three inches or so of water, this morning there's a car nose down in the ditch where it's obviously aquaplaned and spun off the road.

Thanks for your concern, my bad knee is just a part of everyday life, been operated on twice and no better. Now gota live with it :( normally manage ok, but the combo of knee giving way, wet grass and a slope was a bad combo!!!

Viv

HA show how well you know me NOT... last time i wore high heels was when i was teenager well certainly not long after those yrs.... yes many yrs ago :P won't argue about the wine tho LOL

Julie

My knee has been playing me up for years LOL Last operation was in 2006!!! previous one was 2004. Neither op was helpful, so every so often my knee sort of gives way. I normally manage to just stagger, i look daft but stay on my feet. But on Saturday I was in the park to watch Nath play rugby for the school, when it gave way. This time I was on a wet grassy slope, so instead of stumbling and staying upright I inspected the grass with my bum!!!!!! Slid all the way to the bototom of the slope too. I did something to my foot and it was very painful to walk on. So I rested Sat pm, all day sunday and yesterday. Was actually grateful to have hurt it yesterday as it meant I didn't have to go out in the rain and collect Youngest from school. But am back on full duties now!!!

It's blowing a gale here and rain is on and off. It's a duvet day, but mum tempted me out with a promise of a bacon bun at morrisons (she knows my weak point)
