Hi Angie, yes I mean a pre payment one.

Kaz, we got one recently cos of the size of the bill. IT has run out and i have no hot water or heating cos OH accidentally took the card away. I need to know if i can start emergency credit without the card and how do i do it as Ive lost the instructions!!

is is a new one, i know the old ones had a button you pressed and held down to get emergancy credit..

did you also know, you pay a daily charge of about 60 pence to have one of them, thats why i changed.

I have two buttons Kaz, a red and black one, I have tried holding them down. What alternative is there to go for?

Caz, phone back ask them for a prepayment card, but you need help now, ask them... no tell them you have youngsters, the card you have is missing, you need heating, they have to help you. xx

Well Ive rung and been told there is nothing they can do!!!!

I just have to wait until Graeme is back with the card tommorow!!

Caz have you any candles, they give of heat, but make sure their out before you go to sleep, or use tea lights. xxxx

I do Kaz hun, its not too cold but I have loads { about 6 lots of washing that needs to dry, just got a washing machine back!} and theres no hot water.

i too thought it was the law about kids,

it is the law, if you feel up to it on monday phone one of the papers and name and shame the company, you never know, they pay for your story not much, but the gas company might give you money on your card as compo and goodwill...... every little helps.

does your washer cold fill?

Thats the best thing to do,by the time they send a card..and then a meter man round,hubby will be home with card.
