Hi Caz,

I use a topup card but when I lost mine recently, I asked for 2 cards one in my name and one in hubby's name.

Now I use one and store the other somewhere in the house so I can use it if ever I lost one.

Ask them to send a spare card to you after you topup tomorrow I mean.

if thats priority i would hate to be further down the list!!!!!!!

My son had no hot water or heating last sat.He phoned the emergency phone no on sunday and was put down as priority as he has a 4 yr old a 3 yr old and a 6 week old baby.They told him priority is within 3 days. He had it all done on tuesday. Annie

we always leave our card on the shelf by the meter then its always available to hand if its needed

haev funny feeling the ruling about heating/elec and kids was changed due to people taking the mick, letting it run out and then only paying back a small percentage of their debt.

Our Elec will run out if we let it ( also pre payment) but NEVER during the night. But if we've forgotten to topit up it goes off about 8 am.

Im about to try again, yes i will shame them, i have the money to top up but no card!!

My new washer is cold fill but i have tons of washing to get dry, its rained here all day, so no drying outside,

Thats the best thing to do,by the time they send a card..and then a meter man round,hubby will be home with card.

it is the law, if you feel up to it on monday phone one of the papers and name and shame the company, you never know, they pay for your story not much, but the gas company might give you money on your card as compo and goodwill...... every little helps.

I do Kaz hun, its not too cold but I have loads { about 6 lots of washing that needs to dry, just got a washing machine back!} and theres no hot water.
