Caz, I am not criticising anyone who either chooses to work or who has to work. I mentioned in my very first post the financial pressures that mean many mums HAVE to work these days. |

I would have more money to spend on luxuries like a new car, holidays, expensive hairdresser etc if I worked full time...but I choose to make that sacrifice, I want to be with my children so they are brought up with my idea of manners/good behaviour/hugs & kisses etc. My husband works fiull time so we pay our way, but I didnt have kids to hand them over to a nursery full of young girls. My best friend worked in a nursery for 13 yrs, some of the kids cried for their mummies all day, she used to fib to their mums that the kids had been fine - even though they knew otherwise by their tear-stained faces. Couldnt bring herself to tell them they were missing mummy so she just said what they wanted to be told. However, I have a huge amount of respect for single mums who go out to work, they must be exhausted but they carry on. |

I'm not in the business of slating either, please let me make that clear. I am having a go at those who do slate either. |
