... ................................. ........... ......... . ...... ......... ............ .............. ............ .......... .............. ....

They get right up my blooming nose !

Went to the Town today, & this age 30 something bloke, smart trousers, white shirt, office type...walked past with the most horrendous stink of BO which wafted in his wake

Now I was outside, Imagine being inside with that stink..YUK !

The came Tescos...why oh why..do some ladies need to bath in their scent I dont know ?

Two women, at separate aisles stank of perfume, The overpowering whiff was enough to remove nail varnish..or eyebrows.

Dont they realise that once your nose gets used to it, you cant smell it but others can ?..maybe they don't, so re apply over and over again

What a pong !

Thank goodness I wasn't behind any of them in a Que :o((

I'm not talking of people, through no fault of their own who cant help bad hygiene...I'm speaking of the ones who can :o))

I get a sneeze and runny eyes when I am near these people, and it really offends me. Why are after shaves and perfume made so strong? What about the smell of a mans jacket that has been years since being cleaned? Leather is a big culprit.

Ha Ha :):)

We get that distinct smell of sweat now and again in training hall, that or feet :) I know what you mean.

Mines Garlic, I love it but wont eat it if I am about to be in company. I spend to much in company. I can only eat it now and again :(

I dread somebody sitting next to me on the aircraft selling either of strong perfume or aftershave (having been in duty free spraying around), or BO. Knowing I have 4 hours to sit next to them. Ugh!!!

Huia

Huia Report 29 Aug 2008 20:58

Nice one, Marion.

I hate it when somebody who is obviously a smoker sits next to me. They might not be smoking, but I still know they are a smoker as their hair or clothing reek of it.

If I pass a smoker in the street I clap my handkerchief over my nose. I hate the smell.

And I also hate the strong perfumes that women apply. Also the strong perfumes added to soaps and soap powders.

I used to love the smell of jonquils but now find them too strong.

I guess my nose is getting too sensitive in my old age.

But I love the smell of my white azalea when the sun gets on it.

Huia.

I agree with Ann in Glos.
Strong perfume gives me migraine and that is my worst fear.

I HATE THAT ADVERT ON THE TELLY FOR DEODORANT WHERE THE GUY HAS SWEAT MARKS UNDER HIS ARMS, AND HIS EYES MOVE WEIRDLY. I FIND AT SICKENING.

UNLESS IT'S A MEDICAL REASON, THERE'S NO NEED FOR BO.

A woman after my own heart...I can never ever understand why some people need to bathe in perfume instead of old fashioned soap and water...

Unless they want to do away with me as I CANNOT BREATHE

Goes anyone remember the perfume called Poison ?

It was overpowering !

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 29 Aug 2008 21:59

My Mum never wore perfume, she said people only wear it to hide other smells!!!!

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 29 Aug 2008 22:00

Ugh! Elaine, I can't stand the smell of poison, really makes me feel ill.

Grabagran

Grabagran Report 29 Aug 2008 22:01

HOW VERY TRUE ANN.

I NEVER WEAR PERFUME, COS I'M ALLERGIC TO IT. MY DAUGHTER TELLS ME TO WEAR IT ON MY CLOTHES, BUT DON'T BOTHER.

ANYWAY, I HATE THE BEES AND WASPS CHASING ME, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NOTHING SMELLY ON. LOL

DEODORANT IS UNPERFUMED.
