Unfortunately my OH has lost his sense of smell completely, so he doesnt know when his socks are smelly.

He also puts his towel over the fireplace to dry it out and doesnt smelll when it is scorching. I am trying to put a stop to that practice.

Huia.

I can remember when we were young my OH had smelly feet, and I have often slung his socks out of the bedroom window!

Sat next to a man at the Theatre, the show was spoilt by the smell of BO, mixed with cigarette smoke smell, and just dirt.

I have sat next to highly perfumed people, and thought I had the flu coming on.

Whenever I smell Brut, It reminds me when my dad used to use it when I was a child...I used to take off the lid and have the odd sniff because then I thought it was nice.

Dont much like it now tho but it brings back memories :o))

Its funny how times change though, the name BRUT sounds like Brute...the name I would associate nowdays with a ugly violent man...back then it seemed to portray a giant sexy hunk of a man with muscles :o)))

Talking of smells, my Dad used to have really smelly socks, it drove my mum mad so one night she left them in my dads pillow case so he could get the waft all night long!!! Good old Mum!!

Brut makes me sneeze and my eyes water!! I only have to be walking about 100 yards behind someone wearing it - this is outside - and I'm off!!

I can't walk through the perfume department in Debenhams, and can't go anywhere near shops selling pot pourri - it's sooo dusty.

What really makes me mad is when women spray perfume on in a plane!!

I actually told someone off for doing it. stupidity!

HOW VERY TRUE ANN.

I NEVER WEAR PERFUME, COS I'M ALLERGIC TO IT. MY DAUGHTER TELLS ME TO WEAR IT ON MY CLOTHES, BUT DON'T BOTHER.

ANYWAY, I HATE THE BEES AND WASPS CHASING ME, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NOTHING SMELLY ON. LOL

DEODORANT IS UNPERFUMED.

A woman after my own heart...I can never ever understand why some people need to bathe in perfume instead of old fashioned soap and water...

Unless they want to do away with me as I CANNOT BREATHE

I HATE THAT ADVERT ON THE TELLY FOR DEODORANT WHERE THE GUY HAS SWEAT MARKS UNDER HIS ARMS, AND HIS EYES MOVE WEIRDLY. I FIND AT SICKENING.

UNLESS IT'S A MEDICAL REASON, THERE'S NO NEED FOR BO.

I agree with Ann in Glos.
Strong perfume gives me migraine and that is my worst fear.
