home again and before finishing unpacking the car (o.h. came home earlier today with a car load as he had to be in work by 2pm) I thought I would just come and say hello.
Will catch up with everyone's messages later today and tomorrow so please bear with me,there are dozens lol

To those who wanted to meet up but didn't make contact in time, sorry, you should have phoned me! Muffy and I had a great natter when we had our mini meet, and it was good to chat with WildCat and Keith and his wife too, early in my visit too.
Not a bad break away but lots of rain the first week, lovely sunshine from Sunday onwards but rain due again today - we did manage an extra night at the cottage for free, so was good.

Garden looks like a jungle, how much everything has grown in just ten days!

Drive home was fine Muffy, thanks. I really caught the sun on Sunday, excuse the pun lol
Was bright red on bits that were in the line of fire, when I got back to the cottage. Sat outside on Monday all after noon and burned some more bits lol
Wish the weather had been like that last week too.
It was lovely to meet with you, hope your family didn't mind losing you for the afternoon.

Muffy, I didn't, had completely forgotten it but wasn't too sore and had other creams and potions so plastered myself with those.

I am glad the family enjoyed themselves, that is the sort of outing memories are made of and the air and exercise was good for them too. They are lovely children, you are blessed.

Ooops, forgot to say thanks Glenys. Must get some food and finish unpacking.
O.h. off to his son's on Saturday for F. Day so I have a weekend to myself, heaven! lol He wasn't too bad on holiday, and did take me out to dinner three times, went and got fish and chips twice, once the evening we arrived and then on Saturday evening this last weekend too. And he bought me some nice hanging pots and a chocolate peppermint plant from the Norfolk Lavender place near where we were staying so mustn't grumble.
