I have a pressed pansy that I found with my christening certificate .1954!!

it's purple Marion and it's scottish Greenock.(where I was christened).It is just in the middle of my certificate.

I used to press flowers as a kid..then a teenager..I made bookmarks and allsorts..I used to have one of those flower pressing things..prior to that, books in between tissue paper..roses more difficult becoz of thickness etc..Daisies were my favourite..keeping the colour was always a problem though..but it is the sentiment that counts..x

I bet there are a lot of books out there with flowers in them that nobody knows about.
