I used to press flowers as a kid..then a teenager..I made bookmarks and allsorts..I used to have one of those flower pressing things..prior to that, books in between tissue paper..roses more difficult becoz of thickness etc..Daisies were my favourite..keeping the colour was always a problem though..but it is the sentiment that counts..x |

My Dad was an iron moulder, not sure if he made it or not,but I inherited it anyway. Thought I would use it for something since I dont have a wee horse to shoe lol |

Sounds promising Maddie.I'll leave to get well and truly pressed, it's in a book under a 56Ib anvil lol, and will keep an eye open for a frame. |

I framed a rose about 7 years ago. I didnt know how to do it myself but it appears ok - I left it pressed under a very heavy book for a few months I cant recall exactly how long with a piece of paper either side. |
