My heart goes out to you Dawnie, we went through a similar thing with my Nanna. It was so awful especially as she'd just beaten and won against cancer (She had a stroke caused by reconstructive surgery after throat cancer). |

Dawnie, I've been there twice. It's 10 years today since I lost my Mum after long months of illness and I lost Dad a month ago. |

Dawn, it is so hard when you know somebody you love wants to leave you behind, and it is even harder to see them suffering. It was the same with my dad, he was 93 and in the end just more or less turned his face to the wall and went to sleep. He was never the same after my Mum died - they were married 60 years all but a month and he couldn't get on with life without her. |
