As you know, Mum passed away on Tuesday this week. I'm trying so hard to be strong for everybody else, and I'm feeling quite down this evening. Next Friday seems a lifetime away :-(

I really haven't been able to cry. I think there must be something wrong with me as everybody else seems to be able to cry buckets.

Hi Pauline,

Not a good time for you and your family just now,,you have every right to feel upset and down, the hardest part is the waiting now as you say seems a life time away, hope over the next few days will be easier.
Have yourself some happy thoughts which I'm sure there are plenty to reminise over to give you a little comfort to get you through into next week,

You have plenty of time for tears, they're not something to order,,,make them tears of happier times of your dear mum,

Hi Pauline,

Just wanted to say, don't feel bad because you haven't been able to cry yet. It will come in time. I was like that when my Dad died. Inside I was heartbroken but I couldn't let it out because everyone else was in such a state.

I did cry (long and hard) after the funeral. When it happens let it come - it will do you good.

Thinking of you, take care

(((((((((hugs)))))))))) I think you need to stop being so strong and let yourself grieve, hun. Lean on others around you, they care for you and you should all be there for each other.

No one will feel less about you if you let your emotions show.

Could you perhaps go through some old photos of your Mum - perhaps do a display for the funeral?

Pauline. Don't worry about not being able to cry. Everyone deals with their grief in their own way.
You will know when the time is right to do so.

My thoughts are with you Pauline, and a great big

Oh Pauline..........................I was the same when Dad died.

I rushed around being all strong and looking after Mum..........................a few weeks down the line I sobbed for hours over a broken mug!

Grief affects all of us so differently..

Take good care of yourself.................the time between the death and funeral of our loved ones is exhausting.

Take each hour as it comes and here's a huge ((((((((((((((((((((((((HUG))))))))))))))))))))) from me.
