About that Woman !..........................................................

I am not one to take sides and to be frank I don't care a jot what went on in Heather and Paul's marriage. As no one knows what goes on behind closed doors.Nor do I care how much she makes or gets paid out. I also think that she uses her daughters welfare for her own ends.
If only getting £24 million means that her daughter only gets to travell second class whilst her ex husband travells first then Heather needs to learn to budget a little better. I do think she should have a little more pride and decorm.Instead of shouting her big gob off everytime she see's a jourlist or camara crew. Did she learn nothing from her appearance on GMTV. Heather Stop trying to turn the world against Paul so they take your side. The public just do not like you.....

Do you think Paul is just playing cool?

Not only has had 40 + years experiance of the media to know how to handle them but is he giving her enough rope and then......goes for custody as her mother is clearly looking more and more unstable by the day......

I don't particularly like either of them. As I said on a different thread yesterday, I think they both have issues and it's their daughter - ulitmately that will suffer....not by having to slum it in second class (don't believe that for a mo btw) but by having to read the bile and nastiness created around themselves by this nasty divorce... I hope the money was worth it for both of them xx

I agree Hayley,

The little lass will be damaged for sure by the whole public hatred of what has happened and yes she does annoy me. Her whole attitude is self, self,

Well said Hayley and Straykitten, Heather has got what she wanted from Paul - a child and now her millions as well, will this selfish, publicity seeking, absolutely awful woman now please sink into obscurity and never be heard of again.

2 sides to every story. I am the first to say so. We have seen many many Celebrity’s divorcesover the years. Never seen such vile as hers. I agree I don't think she is thinking of her daughter at all...

I thought Heather Mills should have been held in contempt of court after she poured a jug of water over the lawyer Fiona Shackleton.

I agree Hayley this has to be one of the nastiest celeb divorces I've ever seen........I wonder if either of them are proud of themselves today. I don't think either have any cause to bexx

sorry but don't agree mate-feel this poor woman has been hounded every step of the way-and why cos she is married to an icon we love----- who knows what he's really like? do any of us do? I certainly don't ?
I don't always think she has gone about matters the right and correct way and things could have been handled better-but at the end of the day she is a mother with a child to bring up-oh I'd hate to look back at some point and see news articles of my mother being slagged off.

The press have hounded her and I feel she has been left a broken unhappy woman-she will fight for what she can get and I don't blame her-

I don't always agree with some of her comments but I feel alot of them are said in the heat of the moment. and the one comment for me that stands out is the fact that the judge said she was a good mother-

gets off soapbox-sorry but just my opinion!!!!!!!!!!

Muffy ~~~~~For some reason Your name didnt show Muffy...lol Evening everyone...Wasn't very lady like was it Joy ?

If you think back to when Cheryl Gasgoine left Paul she sold her story and gave the money to the charity for Abused Women who suffered at the hands of violent husbands or partners. Paul went to the high court and got it not stopped but only bits could be printed. He said it was'nt in the best interest of the children. I again said well no ones knows what goes on behind closed doors he could of and it MAY not of been that bad. Years later he went to write a book telling the story in his own book....what about the children then.?

Joy

Joy Report 19 Mar 2008 20:28

Disregarding the rest of the court hearing, I was, to put it mildly, surprised that she was allowed to behave like that in court.

Silly Sausage

Silly Sausage Report 19 Mar 2008 20:30

Catherine your opinion mate and your allowed..( coz I am in a good mood ).lol

Sorry but I don't see her as a poor women hounded, was she dragged on to TV to do an interview ? Did she have a gun in her back...when she was shouting her gob off outside court..and surely she has some morals in a court room....I think this is about Heather more than whats best for her daughter but thats me....lol

Muffy as I said it could be all his money but still her gob would be going....I dont really have anytime for Paul McCartney but I do think his children should feel proud of his conduct through out this hearing...

Did it not???? lololol Who was I then???? I hope I was Kylie !!!!!!!!!!! lolololol

I agree 100% Hayley re the Gascoigne case. Fair play to Sheryl for giving it to charity though. I also agree that Heather has courted the publicity with her GMT appearance etc so has to an extent brought it on herself.... Poor Beatrice hasn't though.......tis their fault totally. I have sympathy for neither. Just the child.

However, like you say.........two sides to every story......and I bet Mr M isn't squeaky clean either....just more media savvy.xx

Jean Durant Report 19 Mar 2008 20:33

Well said Catherine.

As someone who engages mouth before brain
at times I can empathise with Heather.

No-one made McCartney marry her. He managed it all on his own even though the media made sure he was left in no doubt as to her past.

I don't know when McCartney achieved sainthood. I must have been out shopping at the time because I missed it.

It takes two to tango and we have no idea what went on behind closed doors.

I personally don't think the marriage stood a chance from the start. Not because of him or her but his children(:

Jean.

Uggers

Uggers Report 19 Mar 2008 20:35

I suppose it could be argued that Heather McCartney has at times defended herself for her daughter's sake. Given the way the media has been anti Heather since she and Paul McCartney got together, I think if I was in her shoes I might want to stand up for myself and try and get my point of view across for myself and for my daughter. Hasn't worked in her favour but that doesn't mean the intention was necessarily wrong.

Too much money is involved for reality, what is the idea with celebs deserving to be so absurdly rich???

Its not a one off though with her is it....lol everytime she steps outside the door. I think she has tried to use the media.....silly girl....and as I said in an early post maybe Paul is has 40 odd years more experience than her.....it showed her inonday even doing the peace sign with 2 fingers.....like he does...or she was telling him to peace off.....lol

Catherine from Manchester

Catherine from Manchester Report 19 Mar 2008 20:47

as I read somewhere it takes two to comitt (sp) to marriage and it take two to break it-

but i did only read that!!!!!!!!!!!!

but it's like I said who knows what goes on behind the scenes-no one will ever know that only them.

at the end of the day she has a daughter to bring up and if they both have any sense they will look at HER best interests and work together to love and support this child-

god knows I did it with nothing!!!!!!!!!!!
