Her Grandad R died last night.. she is too little to understand the concept of death, but does understand that mummy and aunty are very sad and so is daddy, and it has really frightened her.

Thanks all... she isn't quite 3... and she lives near Blackpool, so I can't even get to her to give her hugs myself.. or my DiL either.

(((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))) for the little one and all the family.

Its so confusing for the little ones at times like these, I dont know if you are a religious family but when my children had to go through this I told them that their nan (my mum) went to heaven with baby Jesus cos he needed an Angel to help him look after all the children waiting to be born, It gave them comfort and even now they are a bit older they still think of that story.
