I regularly walk 2 miles to work - used to take me 20 - 25 minutes before I tore the cartilige in my knee.
Now it takes me 30 minutes.

Now or five/six years ago?

Now... wouldn't be able to walk that far even on a good day, it would be too painful, and I wouldn't be able to walk at all for a couple of days after... lol

Five/six years ago? Well it used to take me an hour and a half to walk slightly under five miles... but that included letting dogs stop to sniff and have a free run off the lead, and throwing the ball for them!!

I walk for an hour every day whatever the weather.

I think I could do two miles in about 20 mins maybe half an hour.

I go at dog Parson Russell terrier, warp speed! I also have a piece of Meccano and 8 screws holding my ankle together. I'm a fast walker I guess. I'm talking about now, I'm only 43.

Like others, about 10 years ago it would have taken me 30-40 minutes. I used to walk really quickly when I was younger so when I was 17 it probably would have been 20mins. Now I need a walking stick and couldn't walk even a quarter of that without being in serious pain and needing to rest half a dozen times and it would probably take me an hour to do just that.. maybe longer. *curses Fibromyalgia*
