Hope you bought some extra papers Muffy, you'll probably need three per ciggy to start with until you get the hang of it.

Don't be tempted to make loads in advance, you'll just smoke more. Its ok to make up a couple if you are driving or doing something, but never make a days worth, you'll have the smoked by lunchtime.

The reason you smoke less on rollys is because you can't be arsed fiddling with them until you are gasping for one LOL

Ohhh yeah, new packs are very static, so the bits will be all over the place and you wont' be able to stuff them back in, they just stick to the flap LOL

Get plenty of gas for the lighter, they go out a lot lol

Ok, spread the baccy evenly along the paper leaving a gap for the tip. Add the tip and gently roll, one hand rolling the tip, thumbs towards you, the other will roll to the same width. give a slight twist to catch the corner of the paper then you can roll it in, lick lightly and roll to seal. Pat the tip in so its not sticking out at the end, or you will feel like you are smoking a Silk Cut, all air.

I mostly smoke Superkings or Richmond superkings, but I keep baccy and machine for emergancies. I am lucky at least half the year to be able to smoke duty frees the cost is horrendous.....and where does all that tax go? I pay under 10 euros for 200 supekings thats about £7.00 and here they cost about a fiver for 20??? and the ones I buy abroad are made in Richmond UK!

As for the budget dont get me started they always hit the working and middle class - if there is such a thing these days in the pocket!!

For months we have been bombarded by the media via government about the Binge Drinking Culture and cheap supermarket beers and cider. They want to stop kids buying cheep booze and getting hammered so what do they do???

Add 14p to the price of a bottle of wine (I dont see many kids hanging round with a wineglass in hand!) and only 4p to 2 litres of cider!! and practically nothing to those super strength lagers.

I have smoked all my life since I was about 17, I have a lot of health problems caused by smoking, I am going to try Champix and see how I get on with those, wish I could stop but been a smoker so many years and I have tried everything else but still haven't stopped.

I've smoked rollies for 30 years, and use liquorice papers - they don't dry and rip your lip apart like the white ones!!
Can't stand manufactured ones - don't like the taste and the smell of the smoke is horrendous!!
The smoke from roll ups doesn't seem to cling to you like manufacured ones either.
