What with the increase in ciggies .......ta Alistair GRRRRRRRR
is anybody thinking of either giving up, going onto cheaper cigs or do you not care one way or another?

I'm going to try and smoke filtered roll ups lol. My mates have nearly all moved over to them and they reckon it's much much cheaper.

Just waiting for my rolling machine to arrive......have baccy, filters and papers at the ready lol xx

Never going to work for me KH.

I get the urge every now and then to stop but it needs building up to.

People will stop when they are ready....

I've done it about 4 or 5 times now for nearly a year each time then stupidly went back on them

I'm sure I'll give up again when my mindset is rightxx

Dear muffy,
I have never smoked,
but some of my friends who do reckon the roll ups are not only cheaper, but have less addictive chemicals, and after a while their coughs were not as bad,,,
if thats any help.

Muffy, they are a bit harsh when you first start on them, but in the end you won't be able to smoke many tailor mades...you'll taste all the chemicals in them LOL

Been smoking rollups with filters for about 6 years now, a 50g pack gets me about 100 rolys.

Of course if you can get them duty free its even cheaper LOL

Thanks CMD and TW.

Lots of my mates say the same....... so I'm going to give it a whirl.

My friends mum is going abroad in a few weeks and if I am getting on ok she said she'll get me a few wallets of baccy xx

I've smoked roll ups for years.....cannot stand the taste of ready made cigs.
I think "cmd" is right about there being less chemicals in roll ups.

I used to use a machine, but sometimes messed them up, I hand roll now.

After a tailor made, I can only taste sulphur. YUK!

I rock and roll (cos I smoke less and it's cheaper).

I used to roll ciggies for my BIL when I was a kid, so can do it blindfold!

I do have proper ones here when 'posh' smoking friends come around...

I am a smoker of 30yrs, and will admit to not being proud of it. I would dearly love to be able to give up the weed.
I did go 8 months without, 5 years ago and felt wonderful. But started again when stressed whilst laying Breakfast room and Kitchen floor tiles.

Although Hubby has never smoked, I am lucky that we are able to buy my Ciggies from various places when family go abroad, at half the price. I can honestly say I have only paid £5 a packet twice in 4yrs.
But the problem I have now is I smoke just under 30 per day. In the last few weeks, I have now succumbed to a 'Smokers morning cough'
I am getting out of breath when climbing the stairs.

How on earth do I stop when I have 30 outers of 200 ciggies locked up at home.

I WILL GIVE UP THE WEED BEFORE THE YEAR IS OUT.
