My mum's coming over from Portugal on Friday - she's due for a check up on the heart op she had last year.
My wonderful sister has arranged a family lunch on Sunday. There will be her, me, our mum, our brothers, our children and partners and our grandchildren :o) Oh and friends who don't have mothers - and my ex!! At least 17 in all.
As it's lunch, the partners can go and see their mums in the evening!!
Sister and niece are cooking a huge roast, hopefully mum will make a lemon merangue pie and one daughter's partner (a chef) will do another pudding.
The rest of us are taking a bottle :o))

I am meeting my son and he is taking me out to lunch, leaving o.h. to get on with decorating. He is happy with that arrangement and so am I and my son too, cos he doesn't like o.h. much.

The garden's difficult as they're in the process of moving. The other place needs a lot of work first and I wouldn't have a clue where to start for what to get her for it. She's a right pain to buy for. Lots of "don't wants" but won't give a clue of what she does want. Maybe I'll just get her socks...that'll teach her lol.
