Sueby - I have to admit to being a J Archer fan (books not politics) for years. A thumping good read - whoever writes them.

I'm not one for biographies or auto biographies as a rule Maddie Moo but I'd be interested in how you found that one. xx

I chop and change what I read Muffy like a typical woman!!

I am happiest with a Thriller like Deaver or Cornwall - but have the odd moment where I like a chick flick like Marian Keyes and in rare moments I like a highbrow book - I have been working my way through the 'Classics; for the past few years but still cant get into Dickens! Although like G Green, Steinbeck and others of same note.

When I am under pressure and stressed Pratchett is a great read to switch off from life and I do also like a good biog or auto biog but as with all books I have to be in the mood.

As for Harry Potters ....er I Have been known to be at shop for new release at 1am and buy two as OH and I argue over who will read first.......... pmpl

Maddie passes over a clean ashtray and wonders if she should have one more before bed.
