Have you ever liked anyone on this site? and met them ? was you dissapointed or not? I met some and they were great, others the jury is still out!

Hi Dave... I have met a few people from here now, and have never been disappointed... their personalities have all been just as I expected, even if their looks are not as I imagined.

I have also developed friendships with people on the site I have never met, but we e-mail, or pm, or even telephone... some are family members traced via GR and others are people from the boards.

It is my ambition to meet as many people as possible.... it really is easier when you have spoken on the phone or met someone in person... you can imagine the inflections in their voice and this makes it less likely that you will mis-interpret whatis being written on the boards.

I'd love to meet you too, Dave... are you going to Peterborough?

BC.... another person I would love to meet, and the bailey's is all yours... don't like it, I'll bring me bottle of red, lol!

Never been disappointed by anyone I've met off these boards.

Like Daff they didn't always match the mental image I had of them but personality and friendlyness was more than comes across on the boards.

(hope that last para makes sense - I know what I mean)
