Hi there,
I haven't been on here for a long while. I have just started to find a little time to do abit of my family tree.
I seem to be having a few issues on finding information on my great grandfather William John Jackson,born 1852 Edmonton. father Charles and mother mary.
He married my great grandmother in 1899 Emma Rowlett. He died in 1912 as i have been told by my father but i can find nothing on this. Also i'm guessing with the age difference he may of married previously also..
any help would be great

The tree has her as Ellen Neal, they marry in 1883 and she dies in 1886. There is absolutely nothing to back this up though.

Yes the parents of William were as you have found above.
I couldn't find William in the 1881 or 1891 cencus!!
I found that he had a wife in 1883 Ellen Neal but she died in 1886,couldn't find any children.
I also found a marriage to Kezia Hutchenson in 1871 she died just a few years later,still not sure on any children??

Apologies, just seen reply from Alviegal on the 1881 cencus which confirms the marriage to Ellen

Alviegirl hasn't confirmed the marriage to Ellen, just saying that is what a tree on Ancestry suggests, but that there is nothing to back that up.

The 2 marriages you mention - do you KNOW that they are both him?

No i have no definate ,i will purchase the Kezia one as i know that the name comes up on future children he had with my great grandmother, it's an unusual name which made me think that..
