THank you for the offer Tony, you have been so generous with your time already. I dont want to push my luck here but I wonder if you could check for the death or marriage for Katherine Sybil O'Callaghan and also the death of John O'Callaghan possibly in VIC or SA. John was 36 in 1915 when he married Louisa, and he gives his parents names as James O'Callaghan and Kate (Catherine) O'Connor. Although when i did a quick search on the VIC website I found no John born to this couple. Although there are several children born to a John O'Callaghan and Catherine O'Connor of Hamilton. I ordered this John's death certificate 1909 age 72 and he is shown as John Thompson O'Callaghan husband of Catherine O'Connor married in Hamilton VIC. Children William, James, Francis, Catherine, David, Edward and Joseph Timothy. In your records are you able to determine if Patricia's father John is the son of this John Thompson O'Callaghan and Catherine O'Connor. Sorry to be such a nuisance Tony, I am finding this difficult to let go of and dont want to stop while things appear to rolling along so nicely! |

Hi Danielle. With names like O'Connor and O'Callaghan.......its wise here in Australia to check these surnames without the O' .....and as just Callaghan......and Connor. The irish loved to drop the O' off there surnames for reasons ( religious taunts ) |
