I'd be so grateful if you could look for Ninian Brown and family. They should be in Wilfred Street, Newcastle-on-Tyne or maybe Eight Avenue, Newcastle. Thanks, Janice.

Thanks for the (negative) reply on Hannah Jane Harris and her father Charles. Having got home and looked at the marriage certificate, I realise I gave you the wrong address for 1892, it was 40 Long Street which would be either Hackney or Shoreditch. (Kingsland Road was my great grandmother) If you can search by address, could you see who was living there in 1891, please. Strange that I can't find the birth around 1872, can't find her in 1881 and you can't find her in 1891 : she must be an alien, beamed down the day before she got married ! Many thanks again if you can help, but if not thanks anyway for what you have done.

I got a message returned from AOL, so I am trying here: Sorry to trouble you again but: Could you try Jane Harris and see if that comes up as 40 Long Street, as I suspect that she may have used her middle name instead of Hannah. Many thanks

Thank you for the kind offer. I am looking for HENRY MITCHELL, born Camberwell-Surrey, age 20/21. He could be married to Elizabeth (age 20/21, born Peckham-Surrey) or still with his family. His second child was born in Stanton Street, Peckham (Camberwell District) 3 years after the census. Hope you can help me with this one as he seems to have been very good at avoiding censuses! Many thanks, Lesley

Hi, thanks for the offer, if you're not fed up by now would be very grateful if you could look for : John William Henry Murray born 1887. Not sure where but he was living in Bowden, Cheshire in 1922 so maybe somewhere in that area? I can't seem to find him prior to his marriage in 1922. Many thanks Jan White

You have had such a lot of replies to your message. If you have time, could you possibly look up the Lindley Family of Kearsley or Swinton, pendlebury or Clifton. On the 1901 census, I have the Family living in Kearsley. The family being Sarah (mother), children, Eugenie and fred. There are other children but won't have been born til after 1881. I believe the father was John but he isnt listed on the 1901 census. Thanks for your help
