Could you please try and find my elusive Tucker, He was born Harry James Tucker in October 1885 and changed his name to Robert, I am not sure when the change occured. I cannot find him in 1901 under either name. He was born in Battersea which is in the Wandsworth registration area. His father is Edwin, mother Jane, they are in the 1901 [Jane is deceased and Elizabeth is the new wife] but Robert/Harry is not with them, he was with friends in 1891 still using the name Harry. My Mum tells me he was put away at one stage for scrumping apples so he could be in a reformatory. He would be 15 years old. His father originally came from Exeter in Devon, Mother from Portishead in the Clapton area of Somerset. There also should be a daughter Ivy whom I cannot locate she would have been born around 1894/5 as Jane died in childbirth or shortly after, so I'm told. Many thanks.

looking for Mary Ann Ryman and her children Emma, Henry, Jessie and Hannah. i know in 1881 mary and jessie were at 53 meeting house lane camberwell. mary b.1812, Henry b. c 1830s, emma b.1841, jessie and hannah b.1848. mary had a son called robert who was living in mellicks place at this time with his family. they all seem to be born in peckham and lambeth. if you could locate them it would be great. mary would be a widow aswell as her husband thomas ryman died pre 1871 thanks corrina

hi diana, i do hope you can help me. i have tried to find my great aunt but to no avail, her name is gertrude timson, born 1877 in whitwick leicester. she moved to nottingham with her family and she is on the 1881 census still in leicester age 4.she then appears on the 1891 living in nottingham working as a domestic servant but there is nothing after that, she is still shown as living with her parents in 1891. linda
