Hi Paula If you are still there and still bored could you have a look in Letcombe Bassett for a Sarah Jennaway (she married Robert Tyler there about 1764 so was probably born about 1740 ish). I've got a feeling I may have looked before but another pair of eyes might help. Thanks very much in advance. Carolyn

Thanks very much for all those Paula. You may just have knocked down one of our long standing brick walls. I think the Sarah you found must be her, would have made her 28 when she got married, I was probably looking too late. Thanks again. Carolyn

Hi there Paula. Haven't seen you on here for some time. Hope you had a lovely Christmas. Have you got some more records to help me with my Newports? They were in Loncot, Bourton, Ashberry and Faringdon. Are any of these records new? Saturday afternoon is now a regular slot at Norwich library if you want a look up! Alice

Wifey Report 23 Jan 2005 21:20

Hi there Mad Alice, I had a great xmas and new year. What about you? To be honest, I really can't remember where I've already checked, so fire away!! I've just sent for the registers for Faringdon baptisms, and hopefully they'll be here towards the end of next week. AND I haven't forgotten your look ups in Shrivenham. I'm off to the RO on weds. The first time since about november, I think!!! Paula P.S. I'll take you up on some more look-ups if you really don't mind.
