Hello Louise Can you help searching for Mary Ellen O'Brien and her parents in Lancashire on 1861 census. Mary Ellen 0-1 born Liverpool (someone else searched Liverpool for me but couldn't find her) living with mother Sarah O'Brien 36 born Ireland,dau ,Rose A. O'Brien age 6 born Liverpool,dau, Sarah age 2 born Liverpool and hopefully Mary E's Dad unknown O'Brien. They were living in 61 Bostock St,Liverpool,St Matthews on 1871 census and mother Sarah was a widow hoping to find her husbands name please. (someone also checked the Bostock St, address for 1861 family not there) Any info would be great & thanks in advance for your time Best wishes Jenny.

David, No joy on either of those I'm afraid in the 1901 census (Wales and England), apart from the birth index ref for JSC Jackman which you obviously don't need. But here it is just in case..... I wondering if you could look up her birth certificate for me. birth certificate for: Frances May Nobes Born 6th September 1906 in Blockley, Glous. Her mothers name was Beatrice. Many thanks. I waded through 46 pages of images for the City of London, District 1 (no others available) and couldn't find an address higher than forty something Middlesex St! :OS Perhaps the district changed for this period, any ideas?? That info isn't free but you can search yourself at http://www.1837online.com/Trace2web/ if you're prepared to purchase search credits! Louise Oh dear! Thank you for looking. I am now very confused as your list of places seems to be 3 separate places in London for each line. Middlesex street is right in the heart of the city - I would imagine it would be called Aldgate or Bishopsgate. thank you for trying, I am very impatient at the moment! NELL

Nell, Sorry about the wonky list, it lost its formatting when I copied and pasted it. The districts are listed alphabetically in columns, so look down the first for A, B, C etc and they continue down the middle column and then finally the last. There's a Bishopsgate District so I shall have a look through the images there....will get back to you! Louise :O)
