Find Ancestors

I am trying to locate a Turner family in the 1901 and possibly 1891 census in the Millwall / Isle of dogs.......Poplar registration District. I am looking for a William Turner and his Wife who i believe was called Florence. I know that they had 13 children during their marriage 11 of which survived although i am not sure of the ages or order in which they were born. Their names in no particular order are;.Gladys Florence Doris Lillian Grace Alice Elsie Ethel Victor William Reginald... I know that Alice was one of the younger children and she was born in 1903. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I Think you need to rewrite it underneath then edit top by putting see below as I think you have streached thread too much or it does to me Jeanette

Change your dots for Comma's , it messes it all up and makes it SSooooo hard to read!

there is an Alice Beatrice born Poplar 1903 Oct/nov/dec qtr 1c 808 Could that be your Alice? ( anyone know her second name?)

Lewella would this mean that Forence and Doris were twins ,i known that in future generations there are twins in the family. Regards Mike

Not necessarily. The Census was taken on 31 March 1901. So if Doris's birthday wasn't until say 30 April she was still only 1 for the purpose of the census, but could well have been about to turn 2. Regards, Lewella

Lewella, your a star ,don't know if this will be william though as on the 1901 it says he was born Durham, still i find the more pieces i pick up the bigger and more complete the Jigsaw becomes Regards Mike
