Jane That is the correct family Thanks !! I am a bit puzzled but with the mother in law in 1851 I thought Margaret Bennets maiden name was Greig. Can you trace Betsy Dunn on the 1841 census please. Thanks again Isobel

Isobel now, just realised........ Betsy was born in 1835 so could not be mother in law !!!!! unfortunately i can't view the original page to see what was written.................. could she be sister in law? or dau in law which is step daughter???? trying to find her in 1841 now -- no joy i'm afraid, tried every variation of Betsys ........

Jeanette have had another look at the original........ i would have said Camsee scotland too, but Scottish places are very alien to me i'm afraid !! i've googled Camsey and there are a few references to Scotland, does that mean anything to you?? can't think of anything else except how about you put a thread up and ask the many Scottish readers if it means anything to them? sorry Jane oh, and by the way, i say size 10 !!!!

I am trying to trace the family of my Great great grandfather Francis G Pryor. He was born c 1862 in Comberton, Cambridge, I believe. I have him on the 1891 and 1901 census, but would like to trace the family on earlier publications. Parents are William Pryor and Susan or Susanna. Their children that i know of are Frederick b c 1858 Arthur b 1861 Francis G b c 1862 Harry Albert b 1869 William b 1872 Please can you look at the early census records for me to see if the family are listed. Joyce, can't find him in 1881 or 1891................. have found this though Births Dec 1879 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wall Ernest Walter Pancras 1b 203 might be needed to find his parents names then can search again with those details. i'll carry on looking for a bit though so look out for an update ..
