Find Ancestors

I am looking for Thomas Jordan aged 19 and his wife Lucy aged 20 living in Bagshot, Shalbourne which is part of Hungerford, I have found him aged 9 with his father William and Mother Maria in 1861 but can't any of then on 1871

birthplaces?

Sorry the same as 1871 Shalbourn, Bagshott, they never moved far have the family living here since late 1700's

in 1861 Thomas is living at Standon Farm, Sherburn Green, Hungerford with The Goodwins as a servant aged 19 along with his younger brother William aged 12 the Head of the house is William Goodwin aged 33 . In 1891 he is back in Shalbourne with his second wife Francis Anne (Lucy his first wide died in 1872 aged 26) and 5 of their children. I have also checked his parents in 1871 and can't find them either so I am quite baffled

Vera, Thanks for looking. Thought I was going mad. Can not find the happy couple in 1881 or 1891 based on details given and not found a marriage to match. Will have to wait for some feedback on this one. Maureen

Sorry looks like I have made a slip up with the first info I gave. when Thomas was 9 was from the 1851 census, the later info is correct, its to late to concentrate im afraid will have to look at this again in the morning Many thanks for trying

There is only this Lucy in 1861 that fits the bill. Thanks all. yes that was Thomas on the 1871 census with his wife Lucy, now all I need is Lucys surname. on FBMD I can find the marriage date March 1/4 1870 but no wifes name. Thanks again everyone for you help
