Hi Ozibird, Tried that page, its the same year and 1/4 and the same place, but the number for Thomas is 2c 311 but guess what, when I look at Lucy she is the only name no spouse. I don't want to order certificate if I can help it but I might have to.. Many thanks for all your info Janet |

I haven't tried this myself, but I've read about it on these boards. It's possible if you phone the local county records office & ask if his cert has a Lucy as wife they'll check for you. They don't use GRO reference numbers so you would have to give them the year & quarter. Also not all county records offices will do this. Ozi. |

Hi Ozi, Just been checking the printouts of Marriages on findmypast and I am sure they are both the same the Nos are 341 but its a bit smudged so I am sure we have the right people. again many thanks for all you help Regards Jan |
