Member Since: July 2003 Posts: 636 Send Message	I thought the people who were kind enough to help me with this would like to learn the outcome. My friend's first cousin twice removed has been in touch with him and knew the story from his family. Charles did indeed go to Australia. His wife, Sarah, assumed he had died and "married" again to Joseph Davies. A couple of years after this, Charles returned, found out that Sarah had remarried - albeit bigamously - and returned to Australia where he died in Sydney in 1937.
