Looking at the 1911 census the writing looks like that of Thomas. What I hadn't noticed was that it states children as none, not in the same hand.
I accept that I might not find Thomas' father. Maybe the will could help or given time some DNA link may be found.
I have a couple more brick walls that I'm investigating.
