These ladies were born of William Simon Evans B 1845 Shrewsbury and his wife Eliza Evans (nee Steenton) B 1846 Shrewsbury who Married in 1868 in Shrewsbury.

Daughter Eliza was born in 1878 +/- 1 in Shrewsbury

Ada Florence Evans born in Bicton, Shrewsbury 1887 +/- 1

I cannot find a marriage for Eliza (1878)

I have found a Marriage for Ada (1887) to a Reginald W Davies in 1924. This would make Ada 37 years of age. I am unable to trace any information on Reginald so do not know how old he was in 1924. A son was born in Shrewsbury in 1925 named Reginald W Davies with the Mothers Maiden Name of Evans. Is this the same family.

Can someone please confirm or refute this information and also confirm that Eliza (1878) remained a spinster.

Eliza was alive in 1891 Census found her in the end.

No luck with her getting married tho.

Can you possibly trace the other 4 children (presumed deceased)

By deduction Alfred (not listed after 1871)and Eliza (not listed after 1891) must have died

From 1871 and 1881 there are seven children..guessing Alfred H 1869 died between 1871 and 1881 as you surmise.
